About Zulla:

Casting directors have recently described her as:

- Intelligent

- A little quirky

- Most likely to work at the United Nations

- The Smart girl who just wants to let her hair down

She once won Nevada’s Journalist of the Year and to date, that's still right up there with the time she was 'awarded' best karaoke singer of the night at Lucky Cheng's.

She was born in Ethiopia and can definitely recommend good Ethiopian restaurants.

Most recently, she played a smug partner at a law firm, a meddling (but well intentioned and obviously in the right) sister, an ambitious and successful young ad executive whose personal life is a wreck, and the ever pragmatic best friend.

She's fond of playing thoughtful, complex women who have their feet firmly on the ground. Women who can be vulnerable but will roll up their sleeves and go down fighting if they have to. (Zulla knows how to fight because she has 4 brothers).

Her best friend Alma befriended her in High School because she thought her name was Zena (the Warrior Princess). Zulla is honored by this association and likes to think of herself as a warrior (but one dressed in a suit and briefcase instead of a leather outfit and a sword, of course.)
